Barcelona International Youth Science Challenge (BIYSC)

A two-week international residential science program for talented high school students in Grades 10–12 who are passionate about science and technology. Participants work on a real research project alongside professional scientists at leading research centres, universities and hospitals in Catalonia.

Participants gain real hands-on research experience, work alongside professional scientists, and have access to leading research centres. The program offers an international environment with students from different countries, more than 55 hours of practical research experience, and the opportunity to explore a specific scientific field in greater depth.

Students in Grades 10–12, approximately 16–18 years old, with a good academic record, strong interest in science, and an intention to pursue a career in Science or Technology.
