Collaborative Summer Research Experience (CSR-x)

A free online summer research program for high school students worldwide. Participants work in teams with mentors, study scholarly literature, learn research methods, and develop a final research project including a research poster and paper.

Hands-on research experience; mentorship; interdisciplinary research; international teamwork; development of academic writing and research methodology skills; final symposium presentation; strong research output for a student portfolio.

Incoming Grades 9–12 and recently graduated high school students who have not yet entered college. Open to students worldwide. Applicants should demonstrate curiosity, intellectual drive, genuine interest in research, and willingness to collaborate and participate actively online. Prior research experience is not required for mentees. No mandatory recommendation letter or interview is officially stated.
