Imperial College London Global Summer School

Imperial College London Global Summer School is a two-week residential pre-university programme for students aged 16–17 with an interest in STEM. During the first week, students explore a specialist area of science or engineering; during the second week, they work on an Innovation Challenge, solving a real-world problem with students from different academic backgrounds. The programme takes place at Imperial's South Kensington Campus in London.

• Study at Imperial College London. • University-level lectures, laboratory sessions and practical workshops. • Work on a real-world Innovation Challenge. • Develop STEM, problem-solving and entrepreneurial skills. • Receive advice about applying to UK universities. • Experience Imperial's academic and student environment. • Stay in Imperial student accommodation. • Three meals per day. • Social and cultural activities in London. • Excursions and events. • Imperial Certificate of Participation.

• Age: 16 or 17 before the start of the programme. • Must not turn 18 before or during the programme. • Excellent academic ability. • Majority of grades at 9–7 (A–A)* or international equivalent. • Minimum 7 (A) in mathematics and relevant science subjects. • Strong English language skills. • Interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. • Clear motivation for attending. • Students from all over the world are welcome, including international students.
