University of Chicago Pre-College Summer Session

Summer academic programs for high school students who are ready to explore subjects at an undergraduate level through intensive coursework, discussions, projects, research, and hands-on activities.

Students can experience university-level study at UChicago, earn academic credit, work with faculty and researchers, and experience the academic environment of a major U.S. research university.

Applicants submit a high school transcript, a short essay, and a teacher recommendation. Test scores are optional but encouraged. International students may submit English proficiency scores such as IELTS, TOEFL, or Duolingo.
