University of Amsterdam Pre-University Honours Summer Programme

A two-week on-campus academic programme at the University of Amsterdam for high school students. Participants study a selected subject at university level through lectures, discussions, practical assignments, projects and excursions. Available subjects include Business Innovation & Entrepreneurship, International Relations, Media & Journalism, Politics & Identity, Psychology and Sustainable Thinking.

Experience studying at a leading European university; international academic environment; university-level learning; development of critical thinking, research, communication and teamwork skills; exposure to Amsterdam and university life.

Current high school students aged 16+. International students can apply. Applicants submit an online application, motivation letter and school transcript/academic record according to the requirements of the selected programme. Requirements vary by programme. For Business Innovation & Entrepreneurship, applicants must state their preferred cohort in the motivation letter. No prior experience is required. A recommendation letter and interview are not listed as mandatory.
