Al-Khwarizmi International Mathematics and Informatics Olympiad (KhIMIO)

An international olympiad for school students designed to develop mathematical reasoning, algorithmic skills, analytical thinking, and advanced problem-solving. The Olympiad includes two disciplines: Mathematics and Informatics.

Develops mathematical and algorithmic thinking; provides international competition experience; offers medals, diplomas and certificates; can strengthen a student's STEM profile.

Participants must be under 16 on the day of the Olympiad and study in general education schools. Foreign delegations may include up to 4 Mathematics contestants, 4 Informatics contestants, and 2 team leaders. Registration is online; national teams are selected through the relevant national process.
