International Zhautykov Olympiad (IZhO)

An annual international olympiad for school students in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science. Held in Kazakhstan since 2005, it brings together high-achieving students from multiple countries.

International-level academic competition; strong academic achievement; competition with top students from different countries; medals and diplomas; development of analytical and logical thinking; excellent addition to a STEM portfolio.

School students selected through national subject olympiads or relevant national selection mechanisms. A standard team consists of 3 Mathematics, 2 Physics and 2 Computer Science participants. For Kazakhstan, team composition is determined through national olympiad results. Foreign teams register through their respective Ministries of Education. In some cases, individual students with significant olympiad achievements may be admitted.
