INFOMATRIX-ASIA

An international project competition for school students in technology, science, innovation and digital creativity. Participants present their own projects in categories including AI Programming, AI Hackathon, Hardware Control, Applied Science, Computer Art AI, Short Movie, Arduino Hackathon, Drone Soccer and Startup. In 2026, more than 250 teams from over 10 countries participated in the final.

Opportunity to present an original technology or science project internationally; develop programming, engineering, research, presentation and entrepreneurship skills; collaborate with international teams; receive awards and potential educational opportunities. In 2026, some prize winners received educational grants from Kazakhstani universities.

Eligible participants include Kazakhstani school students in Grades 9–11(12) and international school students aged 10–18. Participation may be individual or team-based depending on the category, with many categories allowing teams of 2–3. Most categories require online project submission and project documentation before the final.
