NGN Hacks

A global online hackathon for Grades 9–12 students who build technology solutions to real-world problems. Beginners and experienced hackers are welcome. Projects can include websites, apps, AI tools, games, automations, hardware ideas, prototypes and other digital solutions.

Free participation; worldwide online format; beginner-friendly; real project development; solo or team participation; workshops on GitHub, web development, AI, automation and machine learning; project can strengthen a portfolio and university application.

Eligibility: students in Grades 9–12, ages 14–18, worldwide. No prior coding experience is required. Students may participate individually or in teams, including teammates from different schools, cities and countries. Submissions require a project description, problem statement, technologies used, project/demo/GitHub link, demo video and team information. The project must be created during the hackathon.
