Description

Pioneer Research Institute is a highly selective online academic research program for high school students. Participants conduct an original university-level research project under the individual guidance of a professor.

The program combines research seminars, academic literature review, research question development, one-on-one mentoring with a professor, independent research, and the completion of an original research paper. Students who successfully complete the program can receive 4 college credits.

Requirements

The application process includes an information session, application, initial screening, and interview. Admission is highly competitive.
