Republican Scientific Projects Competition

An annual national research-project competition for school students organized by Daryn. It aims to stimulate student research, identify and support young researchers, and prepare students for international scientific competitions. In 2025–26, 28,590 students registered 24,278 projects at the school stage; 993 students with 756 projects reached the national final.

Real research experience, independent project development, evaluation by university scientists, national-level project defense, Ministry medals and diplomas, and preparation for international research competitions.

Students in Grades 8–11(12). The research topic is registered at the first stage. The competition has four stages: school; regional/city; selection stage with subject testing and plagiarism/preliminary expert review; and the national final with project defense. Projects may be individual or team-based; teams may have up to 2 students.
