Tamyr Art Lab × BulBul Art Residence

A 14-day international art residency in Bishkek for artists and cultural practitioners from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. The program focuses on professional exchange, collaborative work, research and strengthening connections within the Central Asian contemporary art community.

Fully funded participation; round-trip travel, accommodation and meals covered; international creative environment; exposure to Bishkek's art scene; professional exchange with Central Asian artists and cultural practitioners; curatorial support; networking opportunities.

Eligibility: citizens of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan or Tajikistan aged 18+. Artists, sculptors, photographers, curators, researchers, writers, poets, architects, illustrators, filmmakers, sound artists and performers are eligible. Experimental and interdisciplinary practices are encouraged. There is no upper age limit or minimum professional experience requirement. Selection considers the quality and consistency of the applicant's practice, motivation, interest in intra-regional dialogue and readiness for collaborative residency.
