The Whitman Journal of Psychology (WWJOP)

A student-run psychology journal created and operated by students at Walt Whitman High School. The journal recognizes and publishes psychology research and literature reviews conducted by high-school students and provides a platform for student research to reach a wider audience.

Opportunity to publish original psychology research or a literature review; develops academic writing and research skills; provides experience with APA formatting; demonstrates sustained interest and research experience in psychology for an academic portfolio.

For high-school students. Manuscripts may be up to 20 pages and must follow APA 7th edition, including references and parenthetical citations. Suggested sections include abstract, introduction, methods, results and discussion. A cover letter must include the author's name, email, home address, school affiliation, grade, school address, and advisor's name and email. Research must follow the AP Psychology or IB Psychology curriculum. Psychology-related podcasts of around 20 minutes are also accepted.
