Wharton Pre-baccalaureate Program

A selective academic program at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, for high school juniors and seniors. Students take credit-bearing undergraduate business courses, learn from Wharton instructors, and earn a Wharton transcript and college credit.

Eligibility: students in grades 11–12, or rising 11–12 students for summer sessions. Minimum 3.5 unweighted GPA or equivalent. Applicants submit a high school transcript/grade report with at least two marking periods, 1 recommendation letter from a teacher, counselor, advisor or mentor, and two 150–200-word essays. International students must verify English proficiency. Minimum scores are TOEFL 100 iBT, IELTS 7.0 or Duolingo 130; PSAT/SAT/ACT may be submitted as alternatives. Standardized test scores are otherwise optional. Students graduating early or matriculating at Penn as freshmen are ineligible. No interview is listed as required.
